Zambia, a landlocked, resource-rich country in southern Africa, is embracing entrepreneurship and encouraging enterprise as a way to change the fortunes of its economy and build a more equitable future, and it’s looking to partner with both the diaspora and the broader business community in the United States.

Join Global Atlanta and Zambians Promoting Leadership in America to learn more about investment and trade opportunities from some of its top government and private-sector leaders as they visit Atlanta for the three-day Shifting Mindsets Diaspora Conference.

During a luncheon at Miller & Martin sponsored by Ethiopian Airlines, we’ll explore how Atlanta can continue to be a gateway for American engagement on the African Continent and how Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens’s Year of the Youth can provide a connecting point for Zambia’s plans to implement inclusive growth plans.

Opening remarks from:

  • Chibamba Kanyama, Zambia’s Ambassador to the United States

Fireside chat with:

  • Venus Hampinda, Finance Director/Regional Head Strategic Tax Solutions, Absa Bank Zambia
  • Ceaser Siwale, CEO, Pangaea Securities

Moderated by: Trevor Williams, Global Atlanta
