Join Global Atlanta on Oct. 23rd for the next interview in the Consular Conversations series presented by Miller & Martin PLLC, featuring Sebastián D’Alessio , Deputy Consul General of Argentina.

Stefan Harrigan,
Senior Manager, Global Commerce Team Metro Atlanta Chamber
Stefan Harrigan is Senior Manager for Global Business Development for the Global
Commerce team on the Metro Atlanta Chamber’s (MAC) Economic Development
division. Stefan leads the export and international outbound growth initiatives and
assists with foreign direct investment (FDI) projects. He is an international relations and
business professional with experience spanning Europe and the U.S. Prior to joining
MAC, Stefan served as an International Trade Manager with the Georgia Department of
Economic Development where he consulted exporters throughout the state on their
international business strategy and developed global relationships with key
stakeholders and partners to promote Georgia exports.
Stefan obtained his B.A. in world politics from Leiden University College in the
Netherlands and a joint Master of Arts in transatlantic affairs from the Fletcher School of
Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and the Collège d’Europe. He is fluent in
German and proficient in Dutch.
Guillermo Wasserman,
Partner at Wasserman West, LLC Argentine American Chamber of Commerce
Guillermo Wasserman is an international commercial lawyer, fluent in English, Portuguese, and
Spanish, with significant experience in domestic and cross-border business transactions, particularly between the U.S. and Latin America. For over 20 years, Guillermo has regularly assisted his U.S. and European-based clients to overcome business, legal, and cultural challenges in doing business in Latin America and vice-versa.
Guillermo is a founding Member of the Atlanta-based international business law firm Wasserman
West, LLC, Chairman of the Board of the Argentine-American Chamber of Commerce of the
Southeast, and President of the Northwestern Law Alumni Society in Atlanta. He is a former
member of the Board of Directors of the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, as well as a member of the International Section of the State Bar of Georgia, the Georgia Hispanic Bar Association, the International Law Committee of the American Bar Association, and the Buenos
Aires Bar Association (Argentina).
Guillermo is the recipient of an AV® Preeminent Peer Review rating by Martindale-Hubbell and
consistently ranked among “Latin America’s Top 100 Lawyers” (Corporate/M&A category) by
Latinvex. He has published numerous articles and is regularly a speaker in conferences addressing

T. Lanier Levett is a fourth-generation funeral director and serves as the Chief Operations Officer (COO) of Gregory B. Levett & Sons Funeral Homes, the largest independently owned and operated funeral home business in the southeast, serving more than 2,400 families annually.
Known for compassionate and dignified funeral services that
celebrate family and honor the past, Gregory B. Levett & Sons has been recognized with prestigious awards from the
National Funeral Directors and Morticians Association and American Funeral Director magazine. The company now includes four locations across metro Atlanta and employs 150 staff members, including 25 licensed funeral directors. The company is Gwinnett’s only African American–owned-and–operated funeral home.
As Atlanta and Gwinnett County have attracted more international families, Levett and his family have seen a growing need to provide international services. His business has grown from referrals of the families he has served and his extensive involvement with the Gwinnett Chamber. Levett served on the Gwinnett Chamber Board of Directors a decade ago, returned to the Board in 2021 and is now serving as its 2024 Chairman. In this year, Levett has led the reopening of the Gwinnett Chamber’s newly renovated facilities, engaged in all levels of business leadership, and recently joined a delegation of corporate executives for a cultural immersion tour to Argentina and Brazil.
