Atlanta Ghost Fleet Screening Preview & Panel Discussion

Please join for a special advanced preview of the film, GHOST FLEET, before it is released in theaters this summer. The film follows a small group of Thai activists who risk their lives to find justice and freedom for enslaved fishermen, revealing stories of survival and a criminal conspiracy at the heart of the global seafood industry. You are invited to engage in a dialogue after the screening to discuss the film and hear your thoughts about how we can create a better world one story at a time.

Ghost Fleet follows a small group of activists who risk their lives on remote Indonesian islands to find justice and freedom for the enslaved fishermen who feed the world’s insatiable appetite for seafood. Bangkok-based Patima Tungpuchayakul, a Thai abolitionist, has committed her life to helping these “lost” men return home. Facing illness, death threats, corruption, and complacency, Patima’s fearless determination for justice inspires her nation and the world. Event Information
- Advance registration required. Tickets will not be available at the door as space is limited.
- Entrance for the screening will be through the main entrance of Georgia Aquarium, but does not include Aquarium admission.
- Check-in begins at 6 pm. Guests with reservations simply need to provide their names and will receive a wristband to enter.
- The screening begins promptly at 6:30 pm in Georgia Aquarium’s 4D Theater, concluding around 8:00 pm followed by a panel discussion.
- Late seating may not be available – please arrive before 6:30 pm.
