Atlanta Opera Ring Festival 2029
June 9, 2029 at 12:00 pm – June 14, 2029 at 7:00 pm
One of the most ambitious undertakings in The Atlanta Opera’s history arrives in June 2029 — a complete performance of Wagner’s Ring cycle, the first new U.S. Ring produced since the pandemic, and the first ever performed by a resident opera company in the American Southeast.
Presented in two full cycles across two weeks, the festival features all four of Wagner’s epic operas — Das Rheingold, Die Walküre, Siegfried, and Götterdämmerung.
Directed by General & Artistic Director Tomer Zvulun and conducted by Iván López Reynoso, the production takes place at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre.
