Atlanta’s International Business Ecosystem

November 17, 2021 at 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Atlanta’s International Business Ecosystem

In-Person AND Virtual

Atlanta is rapidly emerging as an economic powerhouse. Dozens of international businesses call Atlanta home, and the number continues to grow as Atlanta becomes even more global and diverse.

Atlanta’s business ecosystem is the network of organizations—suppliers, distributors, customers, competitors, and government agencies—involved in the delivery of a specific product or service through competition and cooperation. The ecosystem affects and is affected by the others, creating a constantly evolving relationship.

The November Members Forum will focus on Atlanta’s international business ecosystem and will feature leaders from two of the most important pieces of the ecosystem.

Vanessa Ibarra, Director of the Mayors Office of International Affairs, and John Woodward, Vice President of Global Commerce at the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce will engage with our members and share insight on what part their organizations and others play in the ecosystem. Cecily McLeod Elgart, Senior Counsel at Gordon & Rees, will moderate this discussion.

Join the World Affairs Council of Atlanta for a luncheon session on Wednesday, November 17th at 12 PM ET at the offices of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce in Downtown Atlanta.

This program will be hosted in person AND virtually live-streamed via Zoom. It is FREE AND OPEN to all, but in-person attendance is capped at 35 people.
