Admiral James Stavridis, USN (Ret.), a distinguished four-star admiral with over thirty years of service in the US Navy, has commanded at the highest levels, including as Supreme Allied Commander at NATO and head of US Southern Command. With a PhD from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, he is a seasoned leader, scholar, and strategist. A recipient of fifty medals, including twenty-eight from foreign nations, he has authored twelve books and serves as chief international analyst for NBC News and a Bloomberg Opinion columnist. Currently, he is a partner and vice chair of global affairs at the Carlyle Group and chairs the board of the Rockefeller Foundation.
