Beloved Community International EXPO

The King Center’s 2022 Beloved Community International EXPO (BCIE) will take place Saturday, September 10th, 11:00 am–6:00 pm, in the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park. The event is open to all ages and free to attend. The EXPO will celebrate diverse cultures with music, dance, performances, and presentations representing people from around the world!

The Beloved Community International EXPO serves to educate the public, inspire respect for humanity, promote cultural diversity, and foster cooperation. The Expo is designed to help shape new behaviors and to increase awareness of and appreciation for diverse cultures. It is a snapshot of what Dr. King called the world house existing as a Beloved Community, which includes a worldwide fellowship that lifts neighborly concern beyond one’s tribe, race, or class. It is a community where people of all races, faiths, colors, cultures, and nationalities live and work to create a just, humane, equitable, and peaceful world.
