The Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) and the Georgia District Export Council, with the support of the U.S. Commercial Service, are hosting Complying with U.S. Export Controls on August 8 & 9, 2017.  This is a two-day, hands-on workshop designed for all levels of expertise on export control issues and a great opportunity to learn directly from BIS regulatory experts.  Don’t miss it!

The program will cover U.S. Government export controls (Export Administration Regulations), including:

  • types of controls;
  • classifying your product;
  • licensing requirements;
  • record keeping requirements;
  • export clearance;
  • enforcement;
  • developing an export management compliance program;
  • changes under the Export Control Reform initiative; and,
  • laws and policies on U.S. economic and trade sanctions worldwide.

Speakers will provide opportunities for Q&A during sessions and will also be available during networking breaks.

An official USDOC/BIS “Certificate of Training” will be issued upon completion of program.
