Captain Planet Foundation to Host Annual Gala Celebrating Environmental Heroes

Captain Planet Foundation will host their annual Gala celebration recognizing the outstanding work of real-life environmental heroes. For the 2024 event, explorer, educator, and storyteller, Josh Bernstein, will be honored for his tireless work in the pursuit of knowledge and discovery of our planet.
Oluwaseyi Moejoh, Nigerian Environmentalist and National Geographic Young Explorer, educating the next generation of young leaders about climate action and helping them build the skills and expertise they need to proffer innovative solutions to environmental issues, will receive the Young Superhero for Earth Award.
The Gala will be emceed by Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s The Monica Pearson Show host, Monica Kaufman Pearson, who is also the first woman and first minority to anchor the WSB-TV daily evening news in Atlanta, GA.
The Live Auction will feature eco-luxury resorts owned by Louis Bacon, Francis Ford Coppola, and Ted Turner, along with eco-adventures to the Arctic with Lindblad Expeditions and to Mongolia with Nomadic Expeditions.
