From August 22–24, 2025, the prestigious Captains of Industry Weekend returns to the Four Seasons Hotel in Atlanta, convening an elite and diverse roster of global business leaders, policymakers, philanthropists, and innovators for a high-impact, multi-day experience. Designed to drive cross-sector collaboration, investment, and community-centered impact, the weekend is strategically positioned ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026 to spotlight Atlanta’s role as a dynamic epicenter for international commerce and cultural exchange.

Hosted annually, the event is produced by the Caribbean American Cultural Arts Foundation and has become one of the most anticipated convenings for the African-American, Caribbean, and Latin American diasporas.

A Weekend of Purpose, Innovation, and Legacy

The Captains of Industry Weekend features four cornerstone experiences:

International Business Summit (August 22, 8 AM–5 PM): A premier global forum with thought leaders and industry experts in fintech, infrastructure, sustainability, and global trade. This summit will promote cross-border partnerships and support the advancement of small and minority-owned enterprises across international markets.

Innovation & Investment Roundtables: Curated sessions that encourage actionable dialogue and investments in public-private partnerships and diaspora-led business growth.

Captains of Industry Gala (August 23, 6 PM–11 PM): A formal evening event honoring distinguished leaders who exemplify resilience, economic impact, and community investment. The gala features keynote remarks, entertainment, and a charitable giving component supporting education and equity.

Cultural & Community Engagement Events (August 21): Celebrating Atlanta’s heritage and entrepreneurial spirit through city tours, artist showcases, and STEAM-focused outreach programs in collaboration with U.S., Caribbean, and Latin American universities and schools.

This year’s summit will welcome speakers and delegates from across the U.S., Caribbean, and Latin America — each contributing unique insights into building resilient economies, empowering marginalized communities, and fostering innovation through cultural capital. “This weekend is about more than honoring leaders — it’s about creating a legacy of economic inclusion and global collaboration,” said Michael Thomas, Chairman of the Caribbean American Cultural Arts Foundation. “As we look toward the FIFA Games and beyond, Atlanta has a unique opportunity to serve as a global hub for diaspora innovation, and this gathering is a critical step in building those bridges.”
