Changing the Game: Atlanta at the Forefront of Sports Globalization”

The World Affairs Council of Atlanta would like to personally invite you, your fellow student-athletes, and your associates to our upcoming briefing, “Changing the Game: Atlanta at the Forefront of Sports Globalization” on Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 6:30-8:30PM at the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business. The arrival of the Major League Soccer team Atlanta United FC to the city has helped to further Atlanta’s status as one premier locations for professional, semi-major, and college-level athletics. Atlanta is presently home to a number of major domestic sports franchises, but it is increasingly becoming home to different teams representing the globalization of sports. Join us as we discuss Atlanta’s rising status as a global city for domestic and international sports and what these changes mean to our community and business climate.
