Charly Boy Movie Press Conference

Journalists from Nigeria with be live streaming in Atlanta for a questionnaire involving Director/ Casting Director Mike Styles and Scriptwriter / Master Engineer Synderella Clarke. Executive producer from VH1 and other celebrity guests will be in attendance. It is being held on Nigeria’s Independence Day.

The film is titled “Charly Boy” and is about a Nigerian native whose life was influenced greatly by his visit to America. This movie is based on actual events, and sends a message out across the world to focus more on similarities as opposed to differences, no matter how different we may be. Production companies from both America and Africa will come together to create a “Hollywood meets Nollywood” collaboration further supporting our message of unity. This event will take place on the 1st of October which is Nigerian Independence Day making the event a special occasion for the people involved.

Charly Boy is known as a legend in Lagos Nigeria whose father was supreme court justice. He is a musician activist, actor, and social media influencer who has been a speaker on Ted Talks and starred in major Nollywood films. He will be portrayed as a Nelson Mandela-type figure and the names that are being considered to star in this film arc KeKe Palmore (Hope – 2022), Bill Skarsgard (Pennywise – 20191, John David Washington (Tenet – 2020), Harry Melling (Devil All the Time – 2020) and RMD Richard Mole Danmijo (Castle and Castle – 2019).

There will be a panel consisting of four people including : Mike Styles (Director), Skip Harquest (Executive Producer, Owner of Harquest productions and former Lawyer of President General Ford), Kenndrie Utak (Executive Producer), and Synderella Clarke (Assistant Director, Scriptwriter Chief Editor, and Master Audio Engineer) taking any questions that guests may have about the upcoming projects. Journalists and news channels in Lagos, Nigeria will also be streaming live from Africa participating in this event. Some of the guests in attendance will be from the entertainment world, such as VH1 representatives, and music industry moguls).
