China Goes Global: Inside U.S.-China Trade and Tech Competition at The Carter Center

The Carter Center’s China Focus series returns with a timely discussion on the future of U.S.-China economic relations, bringing together business leaders, policy experts, and academics to unpack one of the most consequential global relationships shaping trade, technology, and supply chains today.
Headlining the event is Ping Ni, president of Wanxiang America and vice chair of the China General Chamber of Commerce USA, who will offer insights grounded in decades of experience at the intersection of U.S.-China business. The program also features two panel discussions. The first examines the challenges of sustaining productive coexistence between the two powers, while teh second turns to the practical decisions facing U.S. and Chinese companies navigating uncertainty, shifting regulations, and evolving geopolitical pressures.
