Colombia is fast emerging as Atlanta’s preferred partner in Latin America, with new outreach efforts, trade missions and business deals improving the links between the country and the economic capital of the Southeast U.S.
From Cartagena to Cali and Barranquilla to Bogota — with Medellin always in the mix — Atlanta is seeing interest from city governments looking for models of inclusive growth, inbound companies looking for a market foothold and investment agencies seeking to incentivize American manufacturing.
Meanwhile, Atlanta-based groups are executing trade missions to help members source products from Colombia under the market access provided by the longstanding free-trade agreement with the U.S.
Join Global Atlanta, ProColombia, Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce on Sept. 5 at Miller & Martin for an interactive discussion on how to navigate Colombia’s current complexities and build your network in this promising market.
