Día de Muertos – Day of the Dead Festival

Atlanta History Center‘s Day of the Dead festival will be hosted at Atlanta History Center Midtown on October 31st from 12–5pm. While the event is free and open to the public, capacity is limited, and advanced registration is required.
Visitors of all ages can experience an authentic Day of the Dead celebration as if they were in the streets of Mexico. Enjoy traditional dancing, crafts, authentic Mexican food, and entertainment; immerse yourself in a stunning display of altars honoring family and friends who have passed; and sing to the sound of Mariachi.
Wear your favorite Day of the Dead costume and paint your face mask with skulls, skeletons, and cempasúchil flowers. For more information regarding this festival, please contact info@instituteofmexicanculture.org or informacionatl@sre.gob.mx.

For nearly 20 years, Atlanta History Center has partnered with the Consulate General of Mexico and the Institute of Mexican Culture to host Day of the Dead on their campus.
