The objective of these WTC Spotlights is to showcase market opportunities (inbound and outbound) in each WTC’s respective location (not necessarily countrywide), plus the advantages, amenities, incentives, etc. available to doing business in that market, and what services the WTC offers to assist prospective businesses. This is a snapshot of the market landscape, research, analysis, and preliminary considerations for interested businesses.

This series will be most useful to businesses of all sizes, corporate development executives, managers and staff, entrepreneurs, and trade representatives interested in international market expansions and opportunities to engage sister World Trade Centers located in strategic markets around the globe.

Freerk Faber has more than 25 years of experience between companies and government. He is the CEO of World Trade Center Twente since 2009 and since 2019 Board Member of the worldwide umbrella World Trade Centers Association. The WTC Twente supports companies in doing international business through a wide range of services, like trade services and a special soft landing program for foreign companies. His early career achievements and experiences in economic development projects at different Municipalities in the Netherlands has allowed him to integrate knowledge and skills learned in an international business field.
