Early Childhood Education: Educating Liberia’s Future

On behalf of the University Consortium for Liberia (UCL) Board of Directors and our Honorary Chairs, Dr. Cheryl Dozier, President of Savannah State University; Dr. Ophelia Weeks, President of the University of Liberia; Dr. Emmet Dennis, President Emeritus of the University of Liberia, and Dr. Joseph Isaac, President of AME University, you are invited to attend the 4th Annual Scholarship Fundraiser and Panel Discussion on the future of Liberia’s education. The panel discussion will focus on “Early Childhood Education”.This year’s event will be held at Georgia State University on Tuesday, October 9th, 2018.
Last year’s event was a great success with over 150 business partners, university presidents, faculty, students, donors and other stakeholders participating. Our keynote speaker for this year’s event is Hon. Amb. Latim Da-thong, Deputy Minister of Education, Republic of Liberia.
This year we will award four students with $1,000 each in academic scholarships to attend various U.S. colleges and universities.
