Emory Law Symposium on Access to Global Justice
March 26 at 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
Emory Law’s Center for International and Comparative Law will present the David J. Bederman Symposium in partnership with the American Society of Comparative Law. The symposium is entitled, “Access to Global Justice: National Justice Systems as Engines of International Law.”
Advocate General Laila Medina of the Court of Justice of the European Union will present the morning keynote address, and The Honorable Lee Rosenthal, United States District Judge from the Southern District of Texas, will present the afternoon keynote address.
The day will hold several panel discussions with international panelists discussing topics to include:
- Reimagining Access to Justice: Constitutional Foundations and Digital Innovation
- Innovations in Rights Enforcement: Strategic Litigation, Group Claims, and ADR
- Financing Access to Justice: Public Funding, Private Capital, and the Future of Rights Enforcement
