EU DAY: Europe’s Current and Future State of the Union

Registration is now open for the World Affairs Council of Atlanta’s EU Day luncheon on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at Maggiano’s Little Italy.

This year’s program will feature an intimate fireside chat with Constanze Stelzenmüller, Director – Center on the United States and Europe at The Brookings Institution. She is a thought leader on German, European, and trans-Atlantic foreign and security policy. Previously, she served as the Kissinger Chair at the Library of Congress and was the inaugural Robert Bosch Senior Fellow at Brookings. At the German Marshall Fund of the United States, she led the Transatlantic Trends survey and the “New Power, New Responsibility” project. As former defense and international security editor at DIE ZEIT, Stelzenmüller has extensively written on trans-Atlantic relations, NATO, and EU foreign policy. She holds a doctorate in law from the The University of Bonn and a master’s in public administration from Harvard University Kennedy School of Government.
