European Day of Languages 2017

Join the Alliance Française d’Atlanta and the Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta as we celebrate the European Day of Languages 2017!
This year we’ll be focusing on the theme “Languages and the Media.”

The program will include:
• a keynote speaker, who will discuss how the media reflects different languages and cultures along with how languages are used in the media,
• a panel discussion and Q&A with guests who will talk about how languages have influenced their careers in the media,
• a competition where students will submit a 4 minute video in the target language of 1) a Euro news report or 2) a commercial for a European product. Deadline for submissions is 11:59pm on Sunday, September 17, 2017.

This is a great opportunity for students across Atlanta and the surrounding areas to broaden their horizons and think outside of the box when it comes to their futures. You’ll also get the chance to mix and mingle with some of the areas leading international business professionals.

Networking will begin at 6:30pm with the program starting at 7:00pm.

Admission is complimentary, registration is mandatory.
