In German:
The Afro-German Ivie, called “Schoko” by her friends, lives with her best friend Anne in Leipzig (Germany) and works temporarily in her ex-boyfriend’s tanning salon while still looking for a permanent job as a teacher. Suddenly her half-sister Naomi, unknown to her until then, appears at her door and confronts her with the death of their common father and his upcoming funeral in Senegal. As the sisters slowly get to know each other, Ivie increasingly questions not only her nickname but also her self-image.
