France-Atlanta: Mauvais Genre – Film screening by Guy Gabon

Visual artist and filmmaker Guy Gabon will present her documentary film “Mauvais Genre” (Bad Gender), which questions the relationship between first names and gendered identities.

❝My name is Guy. I am of the female sex. My father gave me this masculine first name. In order to understand why this name is a burden that I carry, I needed to reflect on my past and meet people like me.❞

The film will be screened and discussed in the presence of the filmmaker, Guy Gabon. Come join!
