Nearly every geopolitical event leaves an internet footprint and the practice of measuring online traffic is a critical tool in providing a timely understanding of international incidents.

For over a decade, Doug Madory, Director of Internet Analysis for Kentik (a network aggregator and activator of data and analytics), has been at the forefront of using internet measurement data analysis to gain and share understandings of our modern hyper-connected world. After fine-tuning and testing the data, Doug and colleagues synthesize their findings to provide insights to industry leaders and governments on possible geo-political outcomes.
