Geopolitics – Virtual Panel Discussion w/ the Consul of Greece

November 11, 2021 at 11:00 am

Please join Kennesaw State University’s Division of Global Affairs on November 11th from 11:00AM-12:00PM for the 2nd Consular Connections Virtual Panel Discussion. These series of events were created to give the Greater Atlanta community the opportunity to learn more about different countries and world topics from global Ambassadors appointed in the United States.

Geopolitics – defined by Merriam-Webster as the study of the influence of such factors as geography, economics, and demography on the politics – is an interesting yet complex topic dating back to Ancient Greece.

Esteemed guest speaker and Consul of Greece in Atlanta, Theodoros Dimopoulos, will break down the parallels between present day international relations and Ancient Greece and share his perspectives on how history has shaped our world today. KSU faculty member, Dr. Stephen Collins, will also sit on the panel and share his thoughts on the topic.
