Georgia FINTECH Academy Career Fair

These virtual career fairs provide an opportunity to engage virtually with undergraduate and graduate students interested from several University System of Georgia institutions seeking FINTECH careers and internships.

Employers have the opportunity to recruit from majors such as, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics and Actuarial Science. The event is a collaborative effort between the Georgia FinTech Academy and the Georgia State University Robinson College of Business. Your organization will benefit by adding talent from a globally diverse, academically prepared and highly motivated student body.

Fintech Career Fair Format:
 
This Fintech career fairs will take place on the Handshake platform. Employers register for career fairs and make payments through Handshake. Employers will receive a resume book of all registered student’s resumes prior to the fintech career fair. Employers are encouraged to contact the students directly after they have reviewed their resumes to arrange 1-on-1 sessions in Handshake or any desired platform.

A link to the Handshake will be provided to the employers and students.
Employers will sign up for 20-minute time slots to speak about their company.
An itinerary that details the company time slots will be emailed to the registered employers and students.
Employers will deliver their 20-minute company presentations. At the end, of the employer’s session, the student will have a brief Q&A.
Employers will contact students before and after the career fair once they have reviewed their resumes. Employers may setup 1-on-1 sessions in Handshake or platform of choice.
