Goût de France / Good France

InterContinental Buckhead will link Atlanta residents to a worldwide culinary celebration of French gastronomy known as Goût de France/Good France on March 21, 2016.

Created in 2015 by world-renowned French chef Alain Ducasse and the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development, Goût de (Taste of) France/Good France invites the world on a culinary journey, thanks to the participation of over 1500 chefs across all five continents. Each March 21, dinners served simultaneously in participating restaurants, from haute cuisine to fine-dining bistros, honor the merits of French cuisine and its capacity for innovation.

This year, celebrate French cuisine with the InterContinental Buckhead. The Executive chef Didier Lailheugue, had been chosen by the prestigious committee of international chefs and have created a special menu.

Metro Atlanta residents interested in partaking in this international culinary experience can enjoy a special four-course Goût de France/Good France menu at InterContinental Buckhead.

Chef  Lailheugue’s Goût de France/Good France menu:

  • Pan Roasted King Sea Scallop, Sweet Potato Gnocchi, Baby Spinach, Brown Butter
  • Slow Boiled Beef and Tennessee Duck Foie Gras, Spring Vegetables, Bone Marrow
  • Warm Brie de Maux Cheese Crumble, Dry Fruits Chutney, Baby Arugula, Hazelnut Dressing
  • Milk Chocolate and Praline Crunchy Bar, Red Berries Puree, Coffee Cracker

Cost per person: $58 + tax
