Ricky Smith is the General Manager of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, the worldโs busiest airport. He leads a multi-billion-dollar modernization program while overseeing daily operations that serve more than 108 million passengers annually.
Prior to Atlanta, Ricky served as Executive Director and CEO of the Maryland Aviation Administration, managing BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport and Martin State Airport. A 30-plus-year aviation leader, he has driven record passenger growth, award-winning customer service, and major capital programs in Baltimore, Cleveland, and now Atlanta.
Rickyโs focus is simple: safe, reliable operations; smart, on-time construction; and partnerships that grow jobs and opportunity across metro Atlanta.
He holds degrees in business and management and is active nationally in aviation leadership.
