The World Affairs Council is proud to present November 10th Cuba Vibra! with Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba at the Rialto Center for the Arts at Georgia State. Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba is a phenomenon in Cuban Dance. They performed at the 2015 Latin Grammys in Las Vegas and received rave reviews from the New York Times.
Bring your dance shoes, Summer dresses and linen suits as temperatures in Atlanta will rise with 18 dancers full of flavorful finesse accompanied by a live band celebrating the development of Cuban music and dance from the 1950s to the present.
Join the World Affairs Council for an unforgettable evening of cha-cha, rumba, conga, bolero, and mambo. The dance floor will make everyone feel like it is a hot Havana night! The performance starts at 7PM and will be followed by a Cuban Reception with Latin food, music, & dancing!
