IEW Celebrating Brazil – Featuring Dr. Sergio Gallo, Piano, and Zeynep Ucbasaran, Piano

In celebration of Brazil, Sergio Gallo, world-renowned classical pianist, will perform a recital of solo and four hands piano music with guest Zeynep Ucbasaran, featuring music by Villa Lobos and Milhaud based on Brazilian themes. A Steinway artist, Dr. Gallo specializes in the repertoire of the Romantic period, especially Liszt and his contemporaries, including Schumann, Henselt, Brahms, and Chopin. He is the winner of concerto competitions of the Sao Paulo Symphony Orchestra and of the University Symphony in Santa Barbara. Dr. Gallo is the Associate Professor of Piano Performance at Georgia State University.
