In Honor of Dr. John R. McIntyre: Commemorative Symposium at Georgia Tech

Georgia Tech and the U.S.-India Business Summit will host a commemorative symposium honoring the life and legacy of Dr. John R. McIntyre, a pioneering scholar in international business and the founding executive director of the Center for International Business Education and Research. The event will reflect on his decades-long impact on global business education, academic leadership, and international collaboration.

Held at the Scheller College of Business, the program will bring together colleagues, students, and members of the global business community to celebrate Dr. McIntyre’s contributions as both an educator and connector across industries and borders.

A hybrid format will allow participants to join in person or virtually.

The evening will serve as a tribute to Dr. McIntyre’s enduring influence on Georgia Tech, the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs, and the broader international business landscape, honoring a career dedicated to preparing future leaders for a globally connected world.
