Inspired Generosity: Muslim American Stories in Philanthropy

A press conference and panel discussion to launch “Inspired Generosity: Muslim American Stories in Philanthropy.” The event will showcase the contributions of Muslim Americans through art and storytelling.

The panel will explore “the challenges of bias creeping into media coverage, particularly when reporting on the Muslim community.” Panelists include Sophia Qureshi – Founder of 285 South, Kevin Riley  – Former Editor in Chief of the AJC, Maria Saporta – Founder of the Saporta Report. Founder of the Islamic Speakers Bureau Leadership Institute, Soumaya Khalifa, will moderate the discussion.
