International Jazz Day Concert – Atlanta, GA

The Atlanta Jazz Festival will celebrate this year’s International Jazz Day with a concert at Chastain Park Amphitheatre on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at 7 p.m., featuring three performances from artists representing South America, Japan and South Africa. The concert, which is part of the 40 Days of Jazz, will include performances by The Jazz Epistles, featuring Abdullah Ibrahim & Ekaya, and Hugh Masekela, along with jazz vocalist, Sofia Rei and jazz pianist, Senri Oe, and Tamuz Nissim.

This year, the Atlanta Jazz Festival is celebrating 40 years of presenting memorable jazz performances by expanding the 31 Days of Jazz to 40 days of exciting events all leading up to the free festival on Memorial Day weekend, May 26 – 28, 2017 in Piedmont Park. International Jazz Day concert tickets are $40 in honor of the anniversary.
