It Takes the World to Map the Brain

The human brain is one of the most complex, yet widely researched biological machines on Earth. Experts all over the world are tackling the International BRAIN Initiative to learn more about brain disorders such as Alzheimer’s, depression and traumatic brain injury, and about the links between brain function and behavior.

Dr. Paul Wolpe, former Senior Bioethicist at NASA and current Director of Emory’s Center for Ethics, will join the Council to discuss the ethics of brain research.

Dennis Lockhart, President & CEO (ret.) of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta and Council board member, will moderate the discussion.
