Japan Day at the Georgia State Capitol

Please join the caucus leaders of the GA-Japan Legislative Caucus: Chairman David Knight, Representative Teri Anulewicz, Senator Kay Kirkpatrick and Senator Sally Harrell in celebration of the 50-year Anniversary of the Consulate General of Japan’s Office in Atlanta.

Event Schedule

• 10:00AM – Legislative Session Begins (enjoy Japanese Company Exhibits at 2nd Floor Lobby/Legislators walk through area & watch Georgia House of Representatives & Senate Session at 4th Floor Galleries)
• Times TBD – Resolutions honoring the 50th Anniversary to be read and presented to the Consul General of Japan on both Georgia House of Representatives and Senate floors (watch at 4th Floor Galleries)
• 11:30AM or 12PM / Session Ends
• 12:00PM – Remarks by Governor Brian Kemp, Lt. Governor Burt Jones, and GDEcD Commissioner Pat Wilson, Consul General Mio Maeda (2nd Floor Lobby/Legislators walk through area)
• 1:00 PM – International Charter Academy performance at outdoor steps of Georgia State Capitol
