Join the 2023 GSU Dragon Boat Race Team

Join the GSU Office of International Initiatives for its 4th year participating in the Lake Lanier Dragon Boat Race on Saturday, September 9th, 2023.

Free and open to all GSU Faculty, Staff, Students, and Alumni!

Lunch, a team t-shirt, and bus transportation (for 37) to and from GSU Downtown (Dahlberg Hall) for the event provided.

There are spots for 40 racers in total and also a 10-person waitlist and/or cheerleader section for those who do not race.

NOTICE: The bus pick-up from downtown is at 6:15 AM and drop off will be around 3:00 PM. 

The location is Lake Lanier Olympic Park in Gainesville, Georgia. If you do not take the bus and drive yourself, you will need to pay for parking.

PLEASE ONLY SIGN UP IF YOU 100% PLAN TO ATTEND!! With limited spots, transportation constraints and specific t-shirt size orders, only serious racers and participants are asked to e sign-up.
