Knappogue Castle Irish Whiskey Educational Seminar

Many have argued that the Irish can lay a greater claim to whiskey than the Scots. Knappogue Castle believes it’s true. Back in the Dark Ages, it was said that the art of distilling was brought from Ireland to Scotland. The rest, as you might say, is history. Their spirits expert, Philip Duff, can tell you more, as there’s more to the Irish side of the story. Guests will get to sample three remarkable, award-winning Knappogue Castle single malts—12, 14, and 16 year old—and discuss the growing category of Irish single malt whiskey. A spirited journey through the history of Irish Whiskey. Followed by Happy Hour’ where Knappogue Castle cocktails and small bites will be served.
