Lecture: Dr. Stefan Krause – The Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna

As part of the collaboration between the High Musuem of Art, Atlanta and the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna for the Habsburg Splendor exhibition, they are delighted to welcome the curator of arms and armor at the museum, Stefan Krause, PhD to the Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta.

Join them for a lecture by Dr. Krause entitled “The Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna – Imperial treasures, Imperial Stories.”
Dr. Krause graduated from the University of Vienna in 2008 with a masters and doctorate in Art History. After working on a research project at Gerda Henkel Stiftung, he took up his post as the curator at the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna in January, 2013 where he has worked on a series of projects including the renovation of the Gallery of Medieval and Renaissance Hunting weaponry.
