Lecture: Elizabeth Peterson, “The Sande Society: Women of the Mende in Sierra Leone”

Elizabeth H. Peterson is Director of the Oglethorpe University Museum of Art. Professor Peterson developed the current exhibition Stories Without and End: Power, Beauty and Wisdom of Women in African Art of the Mehta Collection in concert with lead curator Amanda Hellman, PhD. Peterson teaches both Museum Studies and COR 104 Art & Culture as an adjunct professor at OU and is a Compass Academic Advisor.
