LIVE in the DTL: Dane Caston & Baby Rose – Juneteenth Celebration

Presented by the City of Lawrenceville, LIVE in the DTL celebrates Juneteenth with performances by Dane Caston & Baby Rose! Featuring the work of renowned sculptor Basil Watson. The event will feature live painting by artist Myia Richardson. The event is completely free to enter.

The City of Lawrenceville Presents: LIVE in the DTL โ€“ A Summer Concert Event Series! Join them this summer at the Lawrenceville Lawn! Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome. Food vendors will be onsite.

Join them on FRIDAY JUNE 17th as they celebrate African American Culture with their Juneteenth Weekend Kick-Off Concert featuring live original music from DJ @GinaTollese, @DaneCaston and the Blue Lights, and @BabyRoseMusic at the Lawrenceville Lawn from 5:30 โ€“ 10 PM.

@GinaTollese will set the vibe as she mixes a variety of genres saluting the diversity of Black American musicians. Browse art from locally and internationally renowned artists and indulge in the flavors and originality of some amazing Black-owned Food Pop Ups. Lawrenceville local, @DaneCaston & the Blue Lights will take the stage at 7:30 followed by @BabyRoseMusic at 9!

Juneteenth memorializes the end of slavery in 1865 (2 years after the Emancipation Proclamation). The City of Lawrenceville is proud to join the State and Federal Government in recognizing June 19th as a holiday honoring this important history. To celebrate, they are kicking off a weekend of festivities with a special Juneteenth edition of their Live in the DTL Summer Concert featuring music, art, and food.
