July 30, 2020 at 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

American-Made, German Certified.

Many industries face a skills gap in the labor force and at the GACC South we work with companies to tackle that issue with our GA CATT dual vocational training program.
The Georgia Consortium for Advanced Technical Training (GA CATT) is an innovative and industry-led approach to apprenticeship education in advanced manufacturing. Based on the German Dual Education System, GA CATT combines practice, theory, and on-the-job learning to train a globally competitive workforce.
During this discussion you will hear first hand from LINDE + WIEMANN USโ€™ CEO on how GA CATT is building their workforce pipeline, has helped establish their in-house training and the importance of taking the German apprenticeship approach to find long-term solutions for the skills gap.

Topics of Discussion Include:

  • Manufacturing Skills Gap
  • German Apprenticeships
  • Benefits for the Apprentice & Employer
  • GA CATT Employer & Educational Network
