The Atlantic Institute and Go Eat Give are excited to announce a series of speakers and panel discussion to raise awareness of intercultural beliefs around the world. The fourth event of the series will host a panel of esteemed speakers to discuss how everyday people can talk about conflict without being offensive to other cultures, religious and political beliefs.
The Panelists Include:
Hrair Balian, Director of Conflict Resolution program at The Carter Center. Hrair Balian has served as the Director since 2008.
Dr. Mustafa Gokhan Sahin, Director of Academic Affairs at Atlantic Institute Atlanta. Dr Mustafa Gokhan Sahin has served as Director of Academic Affairs for over 3 years.
Abbas Barzegar, Ph.D. Assistant Professor, Department of Religious Studies at Georgia State University. Abbas Barzegar’s specializes in Sunni-Shiite polemics, political Islam and African American Muslim history.
Lance R. Askildson, Ph.D. Vice-Provost & Chief International Officer at Kennesaw State University. Dr. Lance R. Askildson has served as the Vice-Provost and Chief International Officer at Kennesaw State University since 2013.
