Lunchtime Performance of Welsh National Choir

Come enjoy a lunchtime performance from visiting the Welsh choir (Urdd Gobaith Cymru) and hear remarks from Ambassador Andrew Young. Also performing is Timothy Miller who is renowned for singing at Georgia’s very own Braves games. Don’t miss out on the final leg of the Urdd’s tour of the SE US!

Urdd Gobaith Cymru translates as ‘Welsh League of Hope’ and this choir is part of the national youth voluntary organization whose mission is to provide opportunities through the medium of the Welsh language for children and young people in Wales to enable them to make positive contributions to their communities.

The choir compromises 24 young men and women, ages 18-24, from different parts of Wales and they have all been competitively selected to be members of this choral group. We are excited that they are visiting Atlanta in their centenary year! Don’t miss your chance!
