Nationwide MLK Online Screening and Discussion

The Consulate General of Israel to the Southeast U.S. is partnering with the Martin Luther Jr. International Chapel at Morehouse College, Spill the Honey Foundation, and the Consulate General of Israel in San Franciso to host a nationwide online screening and discussion of Shared Legacies: The African American-Jewish Civil Rights Alliance.
They would like to invite you to join them and diplomatic missions of Israel in Boston, Chicago, Houston, Miami, Los Angeles, New York, and Washington D.C. Thursday, February 28, 2020, at 7:00 PM ET for a three-part dialogue that will honor the life and legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and the future of Black-Jewish relations. This virtual event will honor and commemorate the life and legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Panelists include Dr. Clarence B. Jones, former legal counsel, advisor, speechwriter, and close friend of Martin Luther King Jr.; Dr. Susannah Heschel, daughter of Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel; Rabbi Capers C. Funnye Jr., cousin of Michelle Obama; Dr. Shari Rogers, film director, and producer; and Ms. London Camel, undergraduate researcher of peace and reconciliation.
Registration is required. Registrants will be emailed a FREE custom code that will allow 48 hours to screen the film.
