January 29 at 10:45 am 1:45 pm

The Sam Nunn School of International Affairs, co-sponsored with the Atlanta Council on International Relations (ACIR), invites you to the Nunn School Symposium VI: The Post-War Order Under Threat.

This year’s symposium will examine the state of the post-war world order, the evolution of its challenges, how structures have shifted, and what the future may hold for continued global governance. The discussion will unfold across two panels: one focused on economic governance and the other on (human) security issues.

The panelists are as follows:

Economic Governance:

  • Alasdair Young, Professor and Neal Family Chair
  • Carly Potz-Nielsen, Assistant Professor
  • Anjali Thomas, Associate Professor
  • Moderator: Vicki Birchfield, Professor

(Human) Security Issues:

  • Mikulas Fabry, Associate Professor
  • Rachel Whitlark, Associate Professor
  • Amb. Michele Taylor, Distinguished Professor of the Practice and former U.S. Representative to the UN Human Rights Council
  • Moderator: Jenna Jordan, Associate Professor and Associate Chair

We hope you will join us for an insightful conversation on the forces redefining global governance and the strategies shaping tomorrow’s world. Please note that coffee and lunch will be served to all attendees.
