Oppenheimer in Perspective: Building the Bomb in Nazi Germany, the United States, and the Soviet Union

Please join Dr. Seymour Goodman on Thursday, April 18th from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for “Oppenheimer in Perspective: Building the Bomb in Nazi Germany, the United States, and the Soviet Union”. Dr. Goodman will be discussing all of the relevant faces of the three atomic bomb projects and their historical importance. While J. Robert Oppenheimer has become the most public face of these projects, there are many more individuals who arguably had an even greater impact. Dr. Goodman will shed light on their importance and provide a greater understanding on the race for the atomic bomb.

The talk will be located in the Kirkwood Room of the Exhibition Hall on the Georgia Tech campus. The Exhibition Hall is a short walk from the visitor parking lots at the John Lewis Student Center.
