Philippine Festival: Kalayaan Family Fun Day 2022

Remember the festival will be in Medlock pavilion inside Pinckneyville Park!
This event is open to the public! Bring your family and friends so that they may experience Philippine Fiesta!!
Delicious food from the Philippines such as lechon, pakbet, inihaw, pancit, afritada, relyeno, adobo, atchara, at mga kakanin katulad ng suman, biko, cassava, braso de mercedes, at baka may halo halo pa!
They will also have non-food items: barong tagalog, filipiniana, bayong, flags, at iba pa!
Morning Activities:
- 2K walk/3K run (8am registration) – $5 registration/$20 with t-shirt)
- Zumba at 9:30 am ($5 registration; $20 with t-shirt)
- Magician 10:30 am
- Children’s games 10:45am
- Atlanta Balintawak Martial Arts Demo ( https://www.atlbalintawak.com/atlanta for inquiries) 11 am
- Tinikling dance and demo 11:15
- Dancing contest, 11:30am
- Pinoy bands jamming session 12 noon
- Singing contest, 1pm
- Tula contest, 1:30pm
- Pinoy Henyo/Adult games, 2pm
- Tagalog Mass officiated by Father Sunny of St. John Neumann church; songs by Te Domine Choir (Elmer Cortez) 3-4pm
- Raffles, all day – Lots of CA$H and COOL
