Economic Forecasting Center Director, Rajeev Dhawan will present his Economic Update for the Nation, Georgia and Atlanta metro area. He will specifically focus on inflation’s persistence and will the Fed make a policy mistake in combating it, thereby spilling the damage to the real estate sector. Joining him will be Jan Hogrefe, Director of Market Analysis and Chief Economist at Boeing Commercial Airplanes. He will present about the air travel industry’s recovery and what it tells about the economy’s future prospects. The 2nd guest speaker is Patrick Jankowski, Senior Vice President of Research at Greater Houston Partnership. His talk will focus on reasons for high energy prices and how long will they remain elevated.
