Sewa International Atlanta 2024 Holi Celebration

Sewa International’s Atlanta chapter is gearing up for its annual Holi festival, scheduled to take place on March 23rd, 2024, at the Cumming Fairgrounds at 235 Castleberry Rd, Cumming, GA 30040, United States to accommodate the growing interest in this vibrant celebration.  Holi is becoming an increasingly popular event across all segments of our community, regardless of race, ethnicity, or religion.

Last year’s event saw an attendance of about 15,000 people, and this year, the organization is anticipating a turnout of many thousands just as in the previous year. Holi, also known as the Festival of Colors, is a Hindu spring festival celebrated with enthusiasm and joy, symbolizing the victory of good over evil and the arrival of spring.

“We are thrilled to bring Holi’24 to the Atlanta community once again,” said Madhav Durbha, President of Sewa International Atlanta. “Holi is a time for all to come together, celebrate, and embrace the spirit of unity. We are looking forward to welcoming our guests this year and creating unforgettable memories.”

The festival will feature live music and dance performances, traditional Indian cuisine, tossing of colorful powder on the attendees, and various cultural activities for all ages. The event is open to the general public, and attendees are encouraged to wear casual clothing to fully experience the colorful celebration.
