The 3P’s of Supplier Success for the Automotive Industry

Join World Trade Center Savannah in partnership with the Savannah Economic Development Authority and the Savannah Harbor-Interstate 16 Corridor Joint Development Authority to learn how manufacturers can successfully become part suppliers in the global automotive parts and components market. This program is part of the Georgia Automotive Manufacturers Association (GAMA) Supplier Essentials Course® and will equip component suppliers with key concepts and industry practices.
This in-person program will cover the following aspects of automotive supplier success:
- Parts – identifying required parts, issues in the supply chain impacting incoming supplies and outgoing products, and industry terminology.
- People – engaging state and local resources, internal and external hiring resources, best practices in workforce development; workforce retention; diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI); and certifications.
- Process – understanding buyer’s terms and conditions, IP, the parts approval process (PPAP), quality requirements (ISO and IATF), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements, green/clean energy considerations and more.
