The Future of North American Trade Relations

The Sam Nunn School is proud to present “The Future of North American Trade Relations,” an event featuring American, Canadian, and Mexican views on the state of play of North American trade. In the run-up to the review of the US-Mexico-Canada (USMCA) agreement in the summer, this half-day symposium takes stock of the stakes, issues, and prospects of the review.
The event will feature a keynote address from Sonny Perdue, Chancellor of the University System of Georgia, former Governor of Georgia, and former U.S. Secretary of Agriculture. Chancellor Perdue was a staunch advocate for the USMCA and championed its passing as a large victory for American farmers.
There will also be a panel discussion offering the national perspectives on the trade agreement and what the future of trade between the three nations may look like.
